NEANDERTHIN DIET PLAN

Neanderthin Low Carb Diet Plan

What is Paleolithic Nutrition?

A natural diet is best
Nature is defined as the absence of technology
Absent technology, grains, beans, potatoes, milk and refined sugars are not edible to any Primates (including Humans)
"This work represents a paradigm shift in our views of nutrition and obesity. Ray's view of a natural diet as being the one possible without technology is purely logical. His views of obesity as an immune system response to foods introduced by technology is revolutionary."

Alan S. Brown, M.D.
(from the foreword)

"Neander-Thin closely resembles the diet I have prescribed for over 5,000 overweight patients in the last eight years. This plan reduces weight and improves diabetes, high blood pressure, and cholesterol by addressing the underlying problem -- our modern diet. Ray sees the forest as well as the trees!"

Michael R. Eades, M.M.,
Author of Protein Power and Thin So Fast
Director of the Arkansas Center for Health and Weight Control

"Hunter-gathering notions with a bibliography, supermarket guidance, recipes, and menus...fat fearlessness."

ARTICLES AND REVIEWS AND LINKS TO THE NEANDERTHIN CAVEMAN'S DIET

Neanderthin Caveman Diet - The Official Neanderthing Home Page

Caveman Diet, PaleoDiet, NeanderThin - Some popular books tell you that because some prehistoric humans lived on large amounts of meat, you should do the same. That's lousy advice. We do know that humans' nutritional needs and system of digesting/processing/using nutrients have not changed significantly in 2 million years -- from our earliest human ancestors

Flinstone Diet - The Flintstone Diet - Stone Age diets are the rage again. The notion that we should return to early-human eating habits resurfaces about once in a generation. In the 1980s the book was The Paleolithic Prescription. Now there’s The Paleo Diet and Neanderthin, among other books. Read on to hear the reader's review.

Neanderthin Diet Gets Attention - Included in the article about The Neanderthin Diet is a comment from a registered dietician who claims that the diet is unhealthy because it "clogs arteries" with saturated fats and causes "osteoporosis" since "protein causes calcium loss." The comment, like most of what erupts from the mouths of dieticians, is nonsense.

Neanderthin Diet - a Caveman's Guide to Nutrition - Much of the premise of a paleodiet (that humans are genetically adapted to such a diet through evolutionary selection) is undeniably sound and Audette's popularization of it is excellent in packing a lot of paleo lore into a small book. This is a long review of the book and it's premise.

Neander-Guy - The Neanderthin Diet is a lifestyle through which Audette swears he has shed 25 pounds, transformed a flabby body into a tight mass of sinew, and, perhaps most impressively, cured his own serious medical maladies: rheumatoid arthritis and diabetes. Audette's guiding principle is simple: Do what the cavemen did.

The Paleolithic Diet - An article about one person's success on The Neanderthin Diet.

Review of the Paleo Diet (and The Neanerthin Diet) - The author of this article gives good reviews to the Paleo Diet.

The Caveman Diet - CBS Article - Ray Audette fancies himself as a modern-day caveman. He even has photos of himself in loincloth attire. And as the author of a book, Neanderthin, he claims people should eat as their ancestors did in the good old days, say, 10,000 years ago.
